Abhishek Singh is a researcher in the field of Global Mental Health, holding a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Allahabad. His work primarily focuses on mental health research programmes aimed at strengthening mental health systems and reducing treatment gaps for disorders such as anxiety, depression, and psychosis through task-sharing approaches.

Abhishek’s experience and interests span the design, implementation, and evaluation of complex psychological interventions, including the integration of WHO’s mhGAP intervention packages into primary care settings. He has also worked extensively on promoting stress management and well-being among mental health service providers, managing research programmes, providing clinical supervision to non-specialist psychosocial counsellors, and engaging in scientific writing. His academic interests further include self-concept, personality structures, and personality disorders.
